My journey of faith began right here at FBC many years ago!  Having been raised in/around Sulphur Springs makes it an even bigger blessing to come back, after many years, and be a part of what God is doing here and now! 

My wife Jeannie and I have been married for over 21 years and have two awesome children: Austin (18) and Autumn (15).  We have a huge passion for knowing God, and making Him known!  We have each/all been involved in taking the Good News of Jesus to people all around the planet by backpacking into mountain villages in Panama, ministering to AIDs orphans in Kenya, praying with Tibetan Buddhist monks in China and being the first ‘outsiders’ ever seen by villagers in Laos… 

But, we realize missions isn’t something we go on…but everyday…every person we encounter is a mission we are on!  We are absolutely convinced that God has some incredible plans to use this generation in mighty ways!  Our heart’s desire is to see students consumed with God and watch them step into their destiny…changing the world!   The ministry is intense, energetic, passionate, and powerful!

We believe God has given us the following vision for student ministry-

We are building an army of radically-committed young people who know God.  They…
• Love Him with all their heart
• Worship Him in Spirit and Truth, and
• Seek to honor Him in all they do
Believing that this generation, through the power of the Holy Spirit, can and will change the world!
